Regression Analysis

Abbreviation: RA

Regression analysis is an analysis method used to measure the relationship between two or more variables. If the analysis is made using a single variable, it is called univariate regression, and if multiple variables are used, it is called multivariate regression analysis. The difference from the correlation is the examination of causality between these variables.

A univariate regression model is shown as Y = A + BX. Here, X is the independent variable, Y is the dependent variable, A is the constant coefficient and B is the regression coefficient. How much Y changes for each one-unit change in X. Analysis can be done with SPSS. Using the regression analysis allows to calculate the impact level of the operational KPIs and how they are affecting customer satisfaction.
